We went to North Carolina to visit Aunt Ashley, Uncle Chris, Ethan and Owen for the long holiday weekend. We had so much fun and the boys were so happy to be playing together again. We had a non-traditional Thanksgiving meal of burgers and hot dogs but still had all the traditional Thanksgiving sides and desserts. It was perfect. We went shopping on Friday and then went up to Blowing Rock to see the town and Santa. The boys waited 2 hours in line to see the big guy and put in their requests. We left Saturday afternoon and took a beautiful, scenic route home full of pit stops and pictures. All in all, the weekend was wonderful and we all had a great time.
